Silk Cocoon Art Course

We delivered heritage workshops on silk cocoon art which is a Northern Cyprus specialty. The course was delivered in two different venues of London; one of them was in our centre and the other one was in a supplementary school. The courses were designed for 6 weeks. Learners had the opportunity to look at designs, tools, techniques cutting silk cocoons and how to design. They were helped to choose a design and redesign their work by arranging differently or using different leaves, flowers or other shapes to combine them in the framed area. They also learnt technique of making their own brooches.

The learners were assisted framing their finished art for displays.

Silk cocoon art course is delivered in two centres;
